Now Shift F7 is a very different place – and so is IT. We’re no longer concerned if Netscape will crash or if the dial-up will hold up. Shift F7 is now a vendor-independent, managed service provider with a client base exceeding 120. We’ve a dedicated hosted platform in a Virtual 1 environment in London’s Docklands and we’ve subsidiaries across the globe.

With over 140 managed based contracts, Shift F7 provides our clients service and support options that range from hosted cloud based platforms to support on premise server and storage installations.
We have developed a comprehensive portfolio of services that enable our clients to maximise the investment made in their infrastructure. Datashare Solutions was acquired in 2012 to provide contractual Back Up and Disaster Recovery services. Their key market were legal Firms and educational establishments and the services were provided from their own datacentre under ISO accreditation. The Datacentre was relocated to a Digital Realty site in 2014 and the company was run as a separate division of the group until August 2015.
NJL Communications were acquired by Datashare Solutions in 2014 to provide contractual IT and Telecoms support expertise. All services were provided by 3rd party suppliers and managed by NJL. Shift F7 has now insourced the IT Support element of these services.
Greencorn was acquired in Feb 2016 and the Shift F7 team moved to the Greencorn premises in March. Greencorn primarily services SME based clients with IT Support Managed and Managed Plus support contracts which complements the mid market focus of Shift F7. All business have been conducted under the Shift F7 brand from June 2016.
Shift F7 have invested heavily in new cloud based Back Up and DR platforms. A new dedicated hosted platform went live in June 2016 in a Virtual1 environment including our Docklands and Heathrow DC’s with dedicated communication links.
